Participants work together reviewing problem sets.

Summer 2020 Dates & Tuition

SUMaC's four-week residential program is held on Stanford University’s campus.
Session Dates
Sunday, July 12–Saturday, August 8, 2020
Stanford University Mathematics Camp's tuition for the summer is $7,000.
Two Tracks
Two courses—Program I and Program II—are taught during this time, with participants taking one or the other, but not both.

Financial Aid

We offer financial aid in the form of partial and full scholarships for domestic and international applicants. Students who wish to be considered for both partial and full scholarships must submit a complete online financial aid application and all required income documentation.

Payment Dates

The date on which a student is accepted into the program determines the deposit and tuition balance payment dates. Once admitted, see the Student Page for your specific payment due dates. The deposit and tuition balances are respectively due 2 weeks and 4 weeks after the notification of your admissions decision.

Tuition is All-Inclusive

The tuition at Stanford University Mathematics Camp covers the following listed below. Please note that tuition does not include airfare and incidental purchases.

Housing & Meals

Participants are housed in supervised Stanford residences in an arts and humanities themed house. Participants receive bedding and eat meals in Stanford dining halls.

Instruction & Course Materials

We provide the necessary supplies for each of our courses and activities. This also includes transportation and fees for academic field trips.

Field Trips

Field trips to exciting cultural and natural attractions in the San Francisco Bay area are scheduled for one day each weekend—including beaches and science/tech museums.

Transportation Between Stanford & SFO

Transportation is provided between Stanford University and the San Francisco International Airport (SFO).
